This telephone must be plugged into a socket or adapter/broadband filter that has a ring capacitor inside for the telephone’s bells to ring correctly.

This beautiful  telephone is in amazing condition and has been fully renovated and is ready to plug in and 
use in your BT telephone socket.
 A very nice looking 706 with a bit of a twist! It was manufactured for the Portuguese market and is fitted with a hand crank magneto.(although it is still inside the telephone it has been disconnected)
This can only be used for incoming calls - so it will work on any telephone line as no 'loop disconnect' cycle is reqiured for incoming calls.
It looks exactly like a GPO 706 but internally it has a large one gong bell instead of the standard dual gong bell. It does sound fabulous when it rings and it is worthy of a place in anyones telephone collection.
